More Taylor Trout
submitted by Kevin Nervick and Dave McNeill
Last week's photos, Taylor Trout , were of Kevin Nervick fishing on the Taylor. The photographer that day, Dave McNeill, wanted us to see that he too had caught a beauty of a fish. We received this photo and comments from Kevin, his fishing partner.
I promised Dave I'd send you this, even though it wasn't a righteous catch.... Dave explained to me that he, indeed, hooked the fish in the mouth on his dropper fly. When it turned away from him during the fight, it spit the hook but unfortunately got snagged in the back by his point fly. Then it freed itself from the point fly but got hooked up again on the dropper fly. Now THAT'S a fish story.
